Introducing the IJF-Certified Judo Tatami, ‘KLASSE’ KL-JPN (Made in Japan).
We have been authorized as an IJF (International Judo Federation) Tatami Supplier since 2026.
KL-JPN and KL-JPN-50 are approved for use in all judo tournaments and dojos certified by the IJF and AJJF.

Features of the IJF/AJJF certified judo tatami “KLASSE” KL-JPN
- ●KL-JPN/KL-JPN-50 can be used in all judo tournaments organized by IJF and AJJF.
- ●Manufactured in Japan using high-quality Japanese materials.
- ●Offers outstanding dimensional stability and long-lasting durability, with a stress-dispersing multi-layer structure that prioritizes ease of movement and safety.
IJF/AJJF-certified judo tatami “KLASSE” KL-JPN installed in the KODOKAN main dojo.
- ●It has been installed in the main dojo of the KODOKAN, the birthplace of judo with a history of over 140 years.
- ●To constantly rearrange the total of 427 tatami, all tatami were installed in tatami frame holders with the same dimensions: 910 x 1820 x 60 mm.
- ●The tatami used in the competition venue are the same color as those displayed at the KODOKAN Judo Museum (KODOKAN igusa color).
It has been 50 years since our company began selling judo tatami mats. We are honored to have obtained IJF certification for our judo tatami during this significant year. We are also deeply grateful for the cooperation we received from the KODOKAN in obtaining IJF certification. We will continue to utilize this valuable experience in the production of judo tatami, with a strong desire to ensure the safety of all those who practice judo.
